Kids’ Club is designed to address the unique bereavement needs of children ages 5 to 13, who have experienced the loss of a parent, grandparent, sibling, extended family member, friend, or any significant relationship.
This workshop offers a supportive environment where children who have experienced loss can safely express inner thoughts and explore greater understanding of their feelings at an age-appropriate level.
Participating children are guided by experienced hospice bereavement counselors who specialize in working with grieving children. Activities may include art therapy, crafts, memory books, story sharing and thoughtful discussions. Kids sharing with kids is highly encourage and supported.
This workshop is free. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required.
