Talking with your loved ones openly and honestly, before a medical crisis happens, gives everyone a shared understanding about what matters most to you at the end of life. Without this, the consequences can be devastating, particularly when family members in the throes of emotional distress must make decisions while guessing what a relative would have wanted.
The Conversation Project is a public engagement initiative with a goal that is both simple and transformative: to have every person’s wishes for end-of-life care expressed and respected.
We believe that the place for this to begin is at the kitchen table—not in the intensive care unit—with the people we love, before it’s too late. Together we can make these difficult conversations easier. We can make sure that our own wishes, and those of our loved ones, are both expressed and respected. Join us for this engaging free public program.
We’ll give you the tools to begin talking with loved ones about your and their wishes, including a free Conversation Starter Kit.
