Job Responsibilities

Responsible for auditing client charts which include OASIS, admissions and resumption of care records for accuracy, quarterly clinical audits, adverse event analysis, committee participation, education of staff and report writing.

Job Requirements

• Conducts, in collaboration with QI/E Manager and team, client care audits as needed
• Reviews/edits clinical mandates to meet regulatory requirements
• Responds to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurers medical information requests and other billing communications in a timely fashion
• Participates in the implementation and tracking of systems relative to quality client care
• Contributes to departmental organization to meet accreditation standards
• Provides education/training to individual staff personal as required or identified through Audits
• Coordinates and participates in the orientation of staff to CVNA per established syllabus
• Coordinates, plans and participates in staff in-services as needed
• Assists Agency staff, supervisors and managers in developing procedures, teaching tools, care plans and forms
• Contributes to a formal report of the departmental activities
• Positively contributes to all phases of the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Contributions may include; identification of problem areas; recommendations to address problem areas; data collection; attendance at periodic QAPI meetings or participation in performance improvement projects.
• Demonstrates a desire to set and meet objectives and to find increasingly efficient ways to perform tasks
• Completes work, care and documentation with accuracy and within Agency time frames
• Requires minimal supervision and is self-directed

Job Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Home Care Nursing experience preferred
• Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
