On Monday, August 4, from 11:30am - 1:00pm, Community VNA will host an informative program featuring Steven Blazar, MD, a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon, spinal specialist and partner with the Orthopedic Group in Attleboro. This lecture will help you understand the pain associated with spinal conditions. Dr. Blazar will also discuss current treatment options. Joan Guerrero, Community VNA physical therapist, will answer questions on in-home physical therapy. Light lunch served at 11:30am. The program is free and open to the public. Next Kids’ Club: -- July 12 is the date for a bereavement program for 5-13 year old children dealing with the death of a significant person in their life. Adult Grief Education Six Week Series-- Periodically, there is a series offering help on the journey towards healing. If you are able to share some hours as a volunteer who makes patient visits, offers companionship or helps with administrative support, please consider a Community VNA Hospice Care volunteer role. Our treasured volunteers assist hospice patients and their caregivers in a variety of ways including reading aloud, playing cards, watching a movie or providing support by being a listening presence.
