Lifeline is reliable. Philips Lifeline assembles and tests its products right here in the United States. Plus Lifeline performs monthly self-checks to monitor its equipment and notifies the Response Center if a power failure or low battery situation is detected.

How does it work?

Lifeline is simple to use. When you need help, just press your personal help button worn around your neck as a waterproof pendant or on your wrist. Within seconds a certified, specially trained Lifeline Response Associate responds, assesses the situation and summons the appropriate help, whether a neighbor, a nearby relative or the ambulance.

Standard Lifeline Communicator

Lifeline with Auto Alert

Lifeline with Auto AlertPhilips Lifeline with AutoAlert option offers all the benefits of our Standard Lifeline Communicator —pushing the button for help at any time—plus an added layer of protection: AutoAlert will call for help even when you can’t push the button.

Lifeline with AutoAlert comes with a special pendant-style help button that can automatically place a call for help if it detects a fall and you’re unable to push the button yourself.

Lifeline with AutoAlert is important because a simple fall can have devastating consequences. Without immediate help, you may suffer pain, emotional distress, or experience serious secondary medical problems such as dehydration, hypothermia or pneumonia. Lifeline with AutoAlert makes sure you can get help if you fall—even if you’re disoriented, unconscious, immobilized, or otherwise unable to push your help button.

Voice Extender

The Voice Extension accessory is an additional 2-way speakerphone that can be strategically located in your home to better assure that Lifeline’s 2-way voice communication can reach all remote areas of the home during a Help Call.

Lifeline Cordless Phone Communicator

Lifeline Cordless Phone CommunicatorThis combines the convenience of the Standard Lifeline Communicator with a cordless phone that has been designed to be easier to use, just for you.

While many new phones suffer from small buttons and tiny displays, the Philips Lifeline Cordless Phone Communicator is perfect for most senior citizens.

Medication Dispenser

Philips Lifeline offers a simple to use Medication Dispenser that is proven effective in helping to maintain a proper medication schedule and reduce the risk of medication errors.

Medication DispenserIf you value your health and independence, you know it's important to take medications exactly as your doctor prescribes. Yet, improper medication management can get in the way of independent living, creating stress for you and your loved ones.

With the complexity of medications that many seniors take, it's no surprise to learn that 1 in 10 hospital admissions for seniors are as a result of medication problems.

How Does it Work

The Philips Lifeline Medication Dispenser is pre-loaded by you or a caregiver with the correct medications in their proper doses and pre-programmed to sound a simple audio reminder at medication times. Then, at the push of the “dispense button” on the unit, your medications are dispensed, in pre-filled dosage cups. If you fail to respond to the audio reminder by activating the “dispense button”, the Medication Dispenser alerts the Lifeline response center who contacts you or your selected caregiver responder.

Lifeline’s Medication Dispenser is an easy and effective tool that has been proven effective in increasing adherence to a medication schedule. It performs with up to 98.6% accuracy.

Lifeline gives you a choice in personal help button styles that allow you to access quick assistance when it’s needed. They are also designed to be attractive and comfortable to wear, thus encouraging constant wear for continuous protection. They’re easy to clean and perform reliably.

    This is a Personal Help Button that users are happy to wear. This soft-ivory button with gold-tone bead and actuator was designed with the look of jewelry. The Classic Pendant reduces any self-consciousness associated with having the Lifeline service. And at only half an ounce, it is comfortable to wear as well as completely waterproof. The Classic Pendant is included with the Standard Lifeline Communicator, and comes with a soft, adjustable neck cord.
  • Slimline Button
    The Slimline Personal Help Button is smaller, lighter in weight and completely waterproof in order to provide maximum comfort and flexibility. Slimline’s attractive design eliminates any embarrassment over wearing a Personal Help Button. Slimline can be worn as a pendant with an adjustable neck cord or can be easily converted to a wrist button with a soft, adjustable elastic strap.
